Many people are finding a new perspective on life and getting a fresh start on who they are and who God is. They're finding it through ALPHA. Eight million people worldwide have taken Alpha, and in this country, over 1.5 million Americans have gone through Alpha at over 7,000 churches of virtually every denomination.

Alpha means "beginning"

Alpha is a relaxed, safe place to ask questions and explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. Its a unique 10-week "meet-you-where-you-are" course. Its a lot like dinner and a movie with friends, adults of any age or background can benefit from the relaxed atmosphere and low-pressure setting. Alpha is a great way to introduce family and friends to the Lord...come on the course with them! Your journey through Alpha is sure to be rewarding, informative and fun!

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone—all ages and backgrounds, especially:

• Anyone interested in investigating Christianity.
• Newcomers to the church.
• New Christians.
• Couples recently married or preparing for marriage.
• Long time Christian believers who want to deepen their faith. 
• Anyone interested in becoming a member of NewDay Church

What happens at Alpha?

Supper – Each weekly session starts with a delicious catered meal which gives people a chance to get to know each other.

Talk – After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.

Coffee and small groups – Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is to simple or too hostile.

• Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
• Why and How Do I Pray?
• Who is the Holy Spirit?
• How Can I Resist Evil?
• Why and How Should I Tell Others?

Information about the next course:

Alpha runs for ten weeks on Monday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm, April 7–June 9. A catered dinner is served each week (suggested donation of $4.00) with excellent desserts and fabulous hospitality!
